The summer has come and gone. The weather is getting cooler by the day.
It has been a roller-coaster ride. August was not a great month for me. I
have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It is so strange because I do
not feel sick. Yet, I know if untreated it could mean my life.
So far I have had a mammogram, several ultrasounds, a couple of MRI s
and a biopsy. I have had consultations with a cancer surgeon, a plastic
surgeon, a radiologist and will be meeting a oncologist next week. This
Thursday I meet with the breast cancer surgeon to plan how we will
continue from here. I even have my own Nurse Navigator that sets up my
appointments for me.
Most of my treatments and surgery will be done at St. Mary Hospital in
Langhorne, PA. I have spoken with several of the staff there and they
are desperate for donations. So I have decided to give back what I
Next month begins Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I have
decided from October 1st to December 31st I am donating all royalties
from my book "Masked Desire" to St. Mary Medical Center, specifically
their Breast Cancer Center. I hope this will help someone else survive
Reviews - Masked Desire - Published Jan 1, 2014 4.0 out of 5 stars - Posted January 23, 2014 Terrific book by a wonderful new author. All of the passion and drama
of a classic romance with a modern feel. The best part is there's a sequel. The
hero is to die for and the heroine is so easy to like. A fun read. Highly
recommended. 5.0 out of 5 stars - Posted February 23, 2014 Great fun! Amazing romance. Has it all... mystery, romance, passion... and a
gorgeous hero. The best part.... there's a sequel on its way! 4.0 out of 5 stars - Posted January 25, 2014This book kept me warm when it was snowing. A different romance. 5.0 out of 5 stars - Posted February 3, 2014This book exceeded my expectations.
It's not your average romance novel.
It's got passion, yes, but it also has suspense and... Most
importantly... a sense of humor. Hoping
to see more great things from this author in the future! 5.0 out of 5 stars - Posted March 12, 2014 This was indeed a thoroughly enjoyable read. I do hope that Elaine
Angelus Kehler is writing another book and soon. Thanks 5.0 out of 5 stars - Posted April 8, 2014I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The characters were well-defined and
their personalities meshed or clashed appropriately. Elaine has woven a tale
which includes a bit of drama, more than one plot twist, and still managed a
surprise ending. I intend to recommend this book to my friends.
